In the name of God amen I Matthew Floyd of Northampton county being sick & weak in body but in my perfect senses do make this my last will & testament this 3 day of January 1813
Item my will is that my loving wife Margret Floyd should have all the property that she had when I married her.
Item my will is that my daughter Drewsillor Floyd should have one blew chest one side saddle one Bed Quilt that her mother made last.
Item my will is that my sons Matthew & Robert Floyd should have out of my estate twenty dollars a peace to be applyd for schowling of them & the remaining part of my estate after paying my just debts to be devied betwen all my children : my wish & desire is that Labon Godwin should be my hole Exectur.

At a court held for Northampton County the 8th day of February 1813, this will was proved by the oath of Westerhouse Widgeon a witness thereto & ordered to be recorded, & the Executor therein named having a person to act, on motion of William Rooks who took the oath & entered into bond with security as the law directs, administration is apointed him on the descedents estate with his said will annexed.
