Last Will and Testament of Walter Hyslop

In the name of God Amen, I Walter Hyslop of Northampton County in the state of Virginia, being at present sick and weak, but of perfect sense and memory, do make this my last will & testament in the following manner.

It is my direction to my Executors to pay all my just debts. I give and bequeath all the lands, or lotts of ground I have in this County to my dear and affectionate wife Anne Hyslop and to her heirs forever

It is also my further will and desire that the entire residue of my whole estate belong to my said wife as her absolute property, after paying my debts as above.

I appoint my said wife and Mr Nathaniel Holland Executors of this my will. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of December 1791.

At a Court held for Northampton County the 15th day of February 1792. The last will and testament of Walter Hyslop decd was proved and ordered to be recorded : And upon the motion of Nathaniel Holland Executor therein appointed and he having given bond with security and taken the oath according to law a certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form.
