I, John Scarburgh of Northampton County do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit. I give and bequeath unto my son John Scarburgh one thousand acres of my Kentucky land to him and his heirs.
Item I give unto my son Charles Scarburgh one thousand acres of my Kentucky land to him and his heirs.
Item I give all the remainder of my Kentucky land to my wife and her disposal.
Item I give all the remainder of my Estate to be equally divided between
my wife and my three Children John Scarburgh Vianna Scarburgh and Charles
Scarburgh and their Heirs. My will is my wife shall have the
Interest of my Children's Estate and the use of my Negro York till free
for to support my Children on, lastly I nominate and Appoint Hezekiah
Pitts and Americus Scarburgh Excecutors to this my last will and
Testament this thirteenth day December in the Year of our lord one
thousand seven hundred and ninety three, whereunto I have set my hand and

At a Court held for Northampton County the 14th day of Jany 1794.
The last will and Testament of John Scarburgh decd was partly proved by the Oath of Ezra Bradford a Witness thereto and on the Motion of Americus Scarburgh and Hezekiah Pitts the Executors therein appointed having giving Bond and Security and taken the oath according to Law Certificate is granted them for obtaining a probat thereof in due form.
